Wordpress is a great tool for a basic, inexpensive website. Its a perfect fit for businesses or organizations that just need a site that is simple to maintain. The PTO uses the site to get information about events and volunteer opportunties to parents quickly and easily. They also utilize a calendar plug-in to promote their upcoming events.

Wordpress also allows you add multiple users to update the site. Different levels of access can be set up based on your needs. One person may be able to add posts, but another will have to proof them first and then publish, while another user will be able to add content to the pages on the site.

There are also a variety of plug-ins you can add to Wordpress sites in order to enhance the site. While we do not recommend Wordpress sites for every business, we think they are great if you are looking for a simple, but polished presence on the internet.
